Winter in the spa
Mariánské Lázně – the town borders Slavkovský les, which offers many great opportunities for winter hiking and cross-country skiing. The modern ski resort has one chairlift and two ski lifts to transport skiers, who can enjoy well-groomed red and blue slopes.
Mariánské Lázně, the second largest spa town in the West Bohemian spa triangle, offers winter vacationers more than just relaxation and healing springs. The town also boasts a number of sports centers.
Ski resort
You don't have to travel far from Mariánské Lázně to go skiing. On the outskirts of the town there is a small ski resort, which is ideal for recreational skiers and families with children. The ski resort is only a 15-minute walk from the main colonnade. In favorable weather conditions, three groomed slopes are open daily. They are served by two ski lifts and a unique gondola lift, which is the oldest lift of its kind in the Czech Republic.

Both on classic cross-country trails and on skating trails, you can glide gently along the groomed trails in Mariánské Lázně in a peaceful natural environment.
In the famous Czech spa town of Mariánské Lázně, cross-country skiers have access to 90 kilometers of groomed trails of varying degrees of difficulty. The longest cross-country trail, at 17 kilometers, leads through the gently rolling Slavkovský les nature reserve. It starts at the local golf course (Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně) and offers a 2.5-kilometer section for less experienced skiers.
